Never miss that trophy fish again with a quality landing net, enter the Sidearm.
The Sidearm is designed especially for wading and kayak anglers who need a lightweight, portable but strong net for securing their catch.
The angled design with deep rear pocket is designed to allow the fish to be swum to the net and then with the tilt of the wrist the catch is secured and can be left in the water to provide support and care for the fish prior to release or dispatch. This reduces the stress on the fish and can be used as a release pad for fish you are intending to return to the water. The end of the net comes with a plastic insert to allow you to secure the net to the angler or the kayak as required.
The tight weave of the specially selected netting minimizes treble hookups and prevents that tangled mess you normally see with most traditional open weave nets, which is not ideal with a thrashing fish.
The construction is 1.2 mm thick, 10mm marine grade aluminium frame with a 1.5mm thick, 22mm marine grade aluminum handle, 300mm long.
When our customers speak, we listen. Now fitted with a positive buoyancy system as standard in the handle and a comfort grip for excellent grip in wet conditions, losing your net over board is a thing of the past. Not found in a lot of nets, the positive buoyancy means that even if you do roll your kayak, or have that monster rip it out of your hands, it will bob right back up again.
The net material is a thick and sturdy Ultramesh weave which retains its strength as well as allowing water to pass through with ease, as well as being good for the fish’s slime coating, giving them the best chance of future survival if released.
We further added accelerated drain holes to the base of the net to allow greater drainage or aeration of your catch when using the net as releasing platform.
So if you take your fishing seriously, or are just looking for a quality Aussie product that will last you for years to come, order a Sidearm today and never miss that fish again.
